This was a great trip on several levels. It starts with Rad Drew, the workshop leader, who worked hard to put together a schedule that included diverse subject matter, beautiful landscapes and that was tailored to the weather. Clouds were a definite point of interest! The hotel accommodations were exceptional. And the group of 9 photographers who joined Rad were a lot of fun to get to know. I highly recommend this Rad Drew workshop.

Fantastic experience. Location was spectacular and Rad Drew is a top notch workshop leader. He was great field teacher, got the group to the best locations and was an all around nice guy. Plan to attend more of his workshops

I really enjoyed Rad Drew's workshop in the Palouse. He knows the area very well, scouted out wonderful locations for the group, and was there for everyone. He helped each photographer as much or as little as they needed. In addition to great locations for photography, he also found fun and interesting spots for group lunches and dinners. Rad is personable, passionate about photography, eager to share his knowledge, and a considerate and fun person. I also appreciated that he did a pre-trip zoom so participants got to know each other a little and got answers to any questions they had before the trip. When the trip ended, Rad also set up a place for participants to share images from the trip. All around a good experience. I came home with a few new ideas, many wonderful images, and some new friends.

Thanks for this wonderful review, Catherine. I really appreciate it. It was as pleasure having you on the trip. I hope you're been able to make that decision you were pondering about your next IR converted camera. Do let me know where you land.

Very enjoyable shoot. Rad did a great job keeping us busy, but providing rest breaks. I came away with over 100 photos that I think are quite good (IMHO). The hotel (Hampton Inn) was good, and we had nice meals throughout the trip. I would recommend Rad's trip without reservation.

Joe, thanks for taking time to write a review. You win the award for being the one on this trip who has traveled with me the most! It's really more of a distinction than an award cuz there's no prize money or anything. :) Thanks for being there for yet another good time. I look forward to seeing you again soon.
